1. Your Agreement with Nordic Luxadvisor
By using the Nordic Luxadvisor platform ("our Service"), you agree to the following:
- Personal Use Only: Our Service is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use.
- Legal Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- Compliance and Accuracy: You will use our Service in a lawful manner, adhering to these Terms. All information you provide must be truthful, accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
- Account Responsibility: If you have an account with us, you are responsible for safeguarding your account details and for any activity that occurs under your account, whether by you or someone else.
- Third-Party Authorization: If you make bookings on behalf of others, you must have their permission before doing so. You are responsible for informing them of the applicable terms (including the hotel's rules and restrictions) and ensuring they agree to those terms.
- Payment and Booking Management: You are responsible for all payments due, any requests for changes or cancellations, and managing all other aspects of the booking.
You also agree not to:
- Engage in Fraudulent Activity: You will not make any false or fraudulent bookings.
- Restrict Automated Access: You will not use robots, spiders, scrapers, or other automated means, nor any manual process, to access, monitor, or copy any content from our Service without permission.
- Respect Access Limits: You will not bypass or circumvent any security measures on our Service or take actions that could impose an excessive load on our infrastructure.
- No Deep Linking: You will not deep-link to any part of our Service without explicit permission.
- Violate Laws: Use the Service in any way that violates local, national, or international laws or regulations.
- Infringe on Rights: Use the Service in a way that infringes on the rights of any person or entity, including their intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
2. Our Role and Your Booking Contract
Nordic Luxadvisor is a partner platform that provides an interface to the booking services of our agent, Little Emperors ("LE"). When you confirm a booking through our Service, LE acts as the booking agent to create a contract directly between you and the hotel. Your contract for the hotel stay is with the hotel, not with Nordic Luxadvisor or LE. As such, Nordic Luxadvisor and LE are not liable for any actions or omissions by the hotel or for the services they provide. The hotel's own terms and conditions will govern your booking, which we strongly recommend you review.
3. Payment
To secure a reservation, you must provide your credit card details. Nordic Luxadvisor facilitates the secure collection of your credit card information, which is transmitted via our booking agent (LE) to the hotel to guarantee your reservation. The hotel may use your credit card to charge a deposit as specified at the time of booking, or to secure payment in case of a no-show, cancellation, or reservation change, in accordance with their policies.
4. Confirmations
Your booking is confirmed, and a contract between you and the hotel is established when a confirmation is sent to you on the hotel's behalf. Please review your confirmation carefully and inform us immediately of any inaccuracies. Ensure that the names provided match exactly with those on the relevant passport. Since we are a platform and LE is the agent, we are not responsible for any errors in documentation except those made directly by us. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of booking; it is your responsibility to contact us if you do not receive it.
5. Currency
All currency conversions displayed are based on recent exchange rates and should be used as a guideline. Final payments are processed in the hotel's local currency and may be affected by exchange-rate fluctuations and any charges imposed by your bank or credit card issuer. Nordic Luxadvisor and LE are not liable for these fluctuations or charges.
6. Amendment & Cancellation Policy
To amend or cancel a confirmed booking, you must contact us directly. All changes and cancellations are subject to the specific hotel's terms and conditions and their cancellation policy. Once a booking is confirmed, you are bound by these policies. Hotel cancellation policies often include a specific time frame before check-in during which cancellations will incur a charge. Please note that any deposits or fees paid at the time of booking are typically non-refundable.
7. Security
While we will do what we can to protect the security and protection of your data, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will not be able to intrude on our systems. You shall promptly notify Nordic Luxadvisor of any actual or suspected unauthorised third-party access to your account by emailing contact@nordicluxadvisor.com. You undertake and agree to cooperate with, and assist, us in any action or proceedings by us to prevent or otherwise deal with any unauthorised receipt, access or use of your account by any third party.
8. Changes by the Hotel
If the hotel needs to make a significant change to your booking or cancel it, we will notify you as soon as we are informed. We, along with our agent LE, will assist in arranging alternative options if provided by the hotel, but we accept no further liability.
9. Our Responsibility for Your Booking
Nordic Luxadvisor aims to provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, our booking partner, Little Emperors (LE), acts solely as your agent when sourcing services from hotels ("Suppliers"). You remain solely liable to any third party for the instructions you give to us, for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information you provide, and for the actions we perform under your instructions.
Your contract for the purchase of hotel services is made with the relevant hotel only. Nordic Luxadvisor provides the platform, and LE acts as an agent for the hotel. Unless expressly provided otherwise, all your rights and remedies are against the hotel. You agree that any contract entered into by you with any hotel is an independent contract. Nordic Luxadvisor and LE hereby disclaim any and all liability for any act or omission of any hotel or any loss incurred by you as a result of such an act or omission.
The information we disclose is based on the information provided to us by the hotels. While we use reasonable skill and care, we cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, complete, or correct. Each hotel remains responsible at all times for the accuracy and completeness of the information (including rates, policies, and availability) displayed on our Service.
Nordic Luxadvisor and LE shall not be liable for any loss, cost, or damage of any nature whatever resulting from your reliance upon the information and recommendations provided. We shall have no liability for any loss arising from requests or instructions supplied by you which are incomplete, incorrect, or inaccurate.
You agree to indemnify us (Nordic Luxadvisor and LE) fully and hold us harmless on demand from and against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages, and losses arising out of your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
10. Accuracy of Prices & Descriptions
Nordic Luxadvisor and LE are not liable for errors or omissions in hotel information, pricing, or availability, as this data is provided by the hotels. We reserve the right to correct any errors in advertised prices. All information is subject to change, and you should confirm all details at the time of booking.
Neither Nordic Luxadvisor nor LE assumes responsibility for the accuracy, truth, or completeness of information derived from the content displayed on our Service. Some content may be linked to other websites, and we shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damages caused or alleged to have been caused by use of or reliance on any content, products, or services available on our Service or any third-party sources to which our content is linked. The inclusion of any hyperlinks to such other websites does not mean that we endorse the information or opinion on such websites or have any association with the owners thereof.
11. Complaints
Since your contract is with the hotel, any concerns or issues with the hotel's services should be addressed directly with them during your stay. This allows them the opportunity to resolve the problem. If you fail to do this, your right to compensation may be limited. If you still wish to lodge a complaint after your stay, you can contact us, and we will assist in communicating with the hotel on your behalf.
12. Visa, Passport and Health Requirements
It is your own responsibility to ensure compliance with all immigration, visa, and health requirements for your destination.
13. Intellectual Property
Nordic Luxadvisor owns or is lawfully entitled to all of the copyright in this Site. All other intellectual property rights are reserved. This website is for your personal use only – you may not use it for commercial purposes. You may only download to your personal computer for viewing purposes and print out a number of pages of this Site for your personal use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this Site.
All rights (including intellectual property rights such as copyright, trademarks, etc.), title, and interest in and to the booking services available through this Site, including but not limited to all information, data, text, maps, the design, logos, icons, and other content provided by our partners, and the underlying code and software, are and will remain the exclusive property of Little Emperors and its licensors. The services and content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are expressly reserved.
Nothing in these Terms gives you a right to use the Nordic Luxadvisor or Little Emperors name, logo, trademarks, domain names, or other distinctive brand characteristics.
14. Changes to These Terms
Nordic Luxadvisor may vary these Terms from time to time and will notify you of any changes in a timely manner. This notification may be via our website, email, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of Nordic Luxadvisor's services are governed by the laws of Norway and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oslo, Norway.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the Services shall be exclusively submitted to the competent courts of Oslo, Norway.
